The Kruger Park Full Day Safari is for guests wanting to experience one of the world’s truly unique National Parks. This safari will take you on a journey into the heart of this magnificent wilderness area and allow you to experience nature in all of its awe-inspiring beauty.
As with all Matumi Destinations’ safaris, guests will be taken into the Kruger Park with a professional guide who has intimate knowledge of the area and all its fauna and flora. Matumi Destinations has chosen its’ guides to ensure a journey that is all encompassing for our valued guests. From the biggest land mammals, to the smallest insects and everything in between, guides will endeavour to provide our guests with a truly unforgettable experience.
The area which is generally explored during this safari is focused around the game rich section of the Kruger Park between Orpen, Satara, Olifants and Phalaborwa. This particular section of the park is well known for its diverse landscapes and the myriad of creatures which call it home. It is an area which is also famous for large predator sightings within the National Park.
Guests can expect to spend a full day in the Kruger Park, exploring giant open plains, dense wooded thickets, stunning perennial and seasonal water courses, taking in the very best that Southern Africa has to offer.
Matumi Destinations’ vehicles are all of the highest standard in terms of comfort, as well as maintenance levels. Our guests are the most important part of our safaris and overall satisfaction is what Matumi Destinations strives to achieve, as we show you this incredible landscape.
Something to consider when choosing a safari is the impact your choice can have on the environment.
Matumi Destinations’ vehicles are designed to comfortably seat up to ten guests per safari. What is important to note is that by choosing this as an option it means less vehicle traffic per guest group, which then has a far lighter footprint per person entering the park. This has positive benefits at sightings, on the animals themselves and on the National Park infrastructure. By choosing a Kruger Park Full Day Safari with Matumi Destinations, you will not only have an incredible personal experience but you are helping in your own way to encourage a more sustainable safari.
Guests will be collected from one of the three main retail centres in Hoedspruit or guests can meet directly at the Orpen Gate / Phalaborwa Gate (depending on the safari route which will be confirmed with guests prior to day of departure).
(If guests would like to be collected directly from their accommodation, they are requested to discuss this option with the Matumi Team prior to the safari)
The safari has an estimated duration time of 10 hours.
During the safari, guides will stop off at various designated areas for coffee & tea, snacks and to allow guests to stretch their legs.
Lunch stops will take place at one of the main rest camps (lunch will be for our guest’s own account). The main rest camps have a great variety of meals to choose from and are very well stocked at all times.
Guests will be returned to the same place from which they departed for the safari.
By choosing a Kruger Park Full Day Safari with Matumi Destinations, you will not only have an incredible personal experience but you are helping in your own way to encourage a more sustainable safari.
